Export your site (it's yours)
Your site is yours, and that includes the right to leave with it. Any site exports as a zip you can host anywhere that serves files, free on every plan, and your live adlens site stays exactly as it was.
What is in the zip
One HTML file per page, the pictures or built assets in an assets folder beside them, a README, and a sitemap. The folder can go on anything that serves files: Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, S3, or plain web hosting.
How to export
Open the editor's project menu and choose Export site, or just ask the assistant to download or back up your site. Either way you get a download link to the zip. Exporting is free on every plan.
A copy, not a move
Exporting changes nothing. Your live adlens site keeps serving exactly as before, your data stays put, and you can export as often as you like. Think of it as a backup you own, or the first step of a migration you control.
What does not come across
The parts of your site that need a server stay behind: checkout and ticket sales, form submissions, live chat, popups, analytics, and anything that reads your products, events, or orders live. The exported pages are the pages; the machinery keeps running on adlens.
The export's notes list anything else that was left out of your specific site, so read them before you point a domain at the folder.
Two kinds of sites, two kinds of zip
A themed or builder site exports as flat, self-contained HTML. Double-click any file and it opens; the pages link to each other straight from the folder.
A built site, one generated as a real code project, exports the built bundle exactly as a visitor is served it. Double-clicking index.html shows the home page, but clicking through to the other pages needs the folder served, because the built pages address each other the way a web server expects. Upload it to a host, or run any local file server, and everything links.
Either way, the zip holds the pages, not the project. The source code of a built site stays in the Code tab.
When it does not work
A built site that has never finished a build has nothing on the shelf to zip, so the export refuses and tells you to build first. Run one build, let it finish, then export.
If you opened a built site's export from the folder and every link past the home page is dead, that is the served-folder rule above, not a broken export. Serve the folder and the links work.
If a form or a checkout does nothing on the exported copy, that is expected: those need the server. Keep them on your live adlens site, or wire the exported pages to your own handlers.
