Preview and live look different
The Studio preview shows the same thing a visitor is served, so when preview and live genuinely differ, the difference is almost always timing. Here is the timeline a change actually travels, and the one thing owners see that visitors never do.
The preview is the real site
On a built site, the preview renders the same built bundle a visitor gets, not a separate mock-up. On sites made of sections, the preview shares the exact render path the live site uses. Either way, there is no second version of your site that could drift out of sync: what you preview is what serves.
The timeline of a change
An edit to a built site queues a rebuild, and the build lands in about 15 seconds. After it lands, the edge network can keep serving the previous version of a page for up to a minute more. So the honest worst case between saving an edit and every visitor seeing it is a little over a minute.
If you reload the live site right after an edit and see the old page, that is the wait, not a failure. Reload after a minute and the change is there. Nothing needs to be re-saved or re-published.
The pill only you can see
When you visit your own live site while signed in, a small dismissible Edit with adlens pill sits in the bottom corner, linking back to the editor. Visitors never see it: it appears only for the signed-in owner, and only on your .adlens.pro address, never on a custom domain. If you were comparing screenshots and one has the pill, that is why.
When it is genuinely different
If preview and live still differ after a minute, check that the build actually landed: a failed build ships nothing, so the live site keeps the last good version while the preview may reflect newer files. Ask the assistant "did my last build go through" and it will read the build history and tell you. If the difference is only on your custom domain and not on the subdomain, the domain is the thing to check, not the site: see the domain and publishing articles in this section.
