The Library: every file in one place
The Library holds every photo, video, audio file and document in your workspace. Every picker in adlens opens it, so a file you upload once is ready everywhere.
Where it lives
Open Library from the app sidebar. Going to /app/library opens the same window over your Home.
Every Choose a file or Choose an image button opens it too: your account photo in Settings, image slots, the event creator, and the editors for products and posts. It is one set of files behind every door.
Upload a file
1. Open the Library and press Upload.
2. Pick files, or drag them anywhere onto the window, or paste them.
3. Each file shows its own progress and lands at the top of the list.
The Library takes images (jpeg, png, webp, gif, avif, svg), video (mp4, webm, mov), audio (mp3, wav, m4a, aac, ogg) and documents (pdf, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, csv, txt, md, json, zip). Each file can be up to 50 MB.
Find and organise
Views across the top filter by kind: All, Images, Video, Audio and Documents. Folders and Tags appear once your workspace has some.
Search by name, sort by newest, name or size, and switch between a grid and a list. Select several files to move, tag or delete them together.
Open a file to see its preview, name, size, dimensions or length, date, and where it is used. From there you can rename it, copy its link, download it, replace it, favorite it or delete it.
Images the assistant makes
Every image the assistant generates for your site is saved to the Library in a folder called Generated. Files you attach in chat are saved to the Library too, so you can use them again later.
Rules that bite
Replace keeps the same link when the file lives in your workspace, so every page showing it updates at once.
Deleting a file that is in use is refused first, with a list of where it is used. You can still choose Delete anyway.
The Library does not generate anything. To make an image, ask the assistant in the editor.
