Import your Shopify catalog
Moving a store should not mean retyping it. The Shopify import pulls your catalog in as draft products, titles, descriptions, prices, and images included, so you review everything before any of it goes live.
What comes over
The import brings each product's title, description, price, and images. Everything lands as a draft product in your workspace, and drafts are invisible to visitors, so nothing appears on your site until you have looked it over and published it. Your Shopify store is untouched: this is a copy, not a move.
Two ways to connect
The first path is Shopify sign-in. Where Connect with Shopify is available, you sign in to your Shopify account and the connection is stored, no tokens to paste.
The second path is the token paste. Give the import your store address in the my-store.myshopify.com form along with an Admin API token from your Shopify admin. Either path ends in the same place: your catalog arriving as drafts.
Run the import, then review
Start the import from the Shopify connector in your Studio's Plugins, or ask the assistant to import your Shopify products. When it finishes you get a count of what came over.
Then do the review pass: open the store's Products list and go through the drafts. Fix any copy that read differently in its old home, check the images landed, adjust prices if you are changing them for the move, and set each product active when it is ready. Publishing is per product, so you can bring the catalog live in waves.
When it does not work
The import fails on the token path: the store address or the Admin API token is wrong. Confirm the address is the my-store.myshopify.com form, not your custom domain, and generate a fresh Admin API token in Shopify if in doubt.
The import ran but you see nothing on your site: that is by design. Everything arrives as drafts; open the Products list, review, and set products active to publish them.
Products imported without images or with fields you did not expect: the import carries title, description, price, and images. Anything beyond those, review and fill in on the draft before publishing.
You want to disconnect Shopify afterwards: remove the connection from Plugins. Products already imported stay in your workspace; disconnecting only removes the stored connection.
