Remix a preset into your own site
Remix is the product's word for starting from any preset. One button in the previewer turns any theme or member site into a brand new draft site of your own, and nothing you do to it touches the original.
One action: Remix
The previewer has exactly one action, Remix. Press it and the Remix this template dialog opens: name your project, optionally add a short make-it-yours brief describing your business, and confirm. adlens creates a new draft site and drops you into the editor with it.
The flow is identical whether you started from an official adlens theme or from a member's shared site. Same dialog, same result: a fresh site that belongs to you.
What copies and what never does
Remixing a member's site clones the theme and a sanitized content bag: the layout, the design, and the demo-safe content come across so your copy looks like what you previewed.
The publisher's private data never copies over. Their contact info, social links, form wiring, products, events, and leads all stay in their workspace. You get the design, not the business behind it.
Remixing a converted theme
Some themes are real code now. Remixing one of those lands your new site as actual files with a build already queued, no extra click needed. When the build finishes, the site is an ordinary project: a file tree in the Code tab, every line yours to edit.
When it does not work
The remix is refused because you are out of sites: remixes count toward the Free plan's 5-site cap. Delete a draft you no longer need, or upgrade, and remix again.
You expected the publisher's products or events to come across: they never do, by design. The sanitized clone protects the publisher's business data. Add your own products and events and the theme's sections fill with them.
You remixed a code theme and the pages are not showing yet: the build is queued and runs on its own. Give it a moment and the preview shows the finished site. You do not need to press anything to start it.
