Forms on AI-built sites: what's wired today
Not every form on an adlens site is wired the same way yet. Here is the honest map of which forms deliver to your Leads inbox today, and what to do when collecting enquiries is the whole point.
Three kinds of forms, three answers
Your workspace can hold sites made three different ways: sites built band by band with the builder and themes, projects the AI design engine built as real code, and sites you imported from an existing address. A form behaves differently on each, and knowing which kind you have tells you exactly what your form does with a submission.
Builder forms: fully wired
On band-based sites, a form you create in the form builder and bind by its id lands its submissions in the workspace Leads inbox. This is the fully wired path: the visitor submits, the lead appears at /app/leads with the form name and site attached, and everything downstream, the email-tool sync, webhooks, and CSV export, works on it.
If leads are the point of the page, this is the path to use today.
Forms the design engine writes
When the AI builds a project site and writes a form into it, that form works on the page: it saves the submission and tells the visitor so. But it saves into the site's own demo store, not yet into the workspace Leads inbox.
That is fine for a demo or a design you are still shaping. When collecting enquiries is the whole point of the site, the honest answer is that Leads wiring on built sites is coming, and until it lands you should not promise yourself that those submissions will appear at /app/leads, because today they will not.
Forms on imported sites
A site brought in with the importer arrives with its forms as visual fields and nothing wired behind them. They look right, but a submission goes nowhere until you recreate the form.
Recreate it in the builder at /app/forms with the same fields, place it on the imported site, and it becomes a fully wired builder form: submissions land in Leads like any other.
When your leads are not arriving
First identify which kind of site the form is on. If it is an AI-built project, the submissions are in the site's demo store, not in Leads: that is today's known gap, not a bug in your form.
If it is an imported site and the form has never been recreated, nothing is wired behind the fields. Rebuild it in /app/forms.
If it is a builder form on a band-based site and leads are still missing, check the Leads inbox site filter, and check the form's Show on placement to confirm it is actually rendering on the site you are testing.
