Build a form
A form turns a visitor into a lead. Build one in a few minutes, put it on the right site, and every submission lands in your Leads inbox with the visitor's answers attached.
Where forms live
The form builder is at /app/forms, the forms tab of your Leads page. Every form you build there belongs to your workspace, and every submission it collects lands in the Leads inbox at /app/leads with the visitor's answers, the form it came from, and the site it was submitted on.
You can also ask the AI assistant to build one for you. Say what you want, a contact form, a signup form, an inquiry form, and it creates the form with sensible fields. A contact form defaults to three fields: name, email, and message. That default covers most sites, and you can add to it any time.
Choose your fields
A form is a list of fields, and each field has a type: text, textarea, email, phone, number, select, checkbox, or date. Use text for short answers, textarea for anything longer than a sentence, and select when you want the visitor to pick from options you define.
Every field carries a label, and the label is shown as a real label above the field, not as placeholder text that disappears the moment someone starts typing. Write labels as the question you are asking: Full name, Work email, What do you need help with. A field can also carry an optional placeholder for an example answer, but the label does the work.
Mark a field required when you cannot act on a submission without it. Email is the usual one. Keep required fields to the minimum: every extra mandatory field costs you submissions.
Build it step by step
Open /app/forms and create a new form. Name it something you will recognize in the Leads inbox later, because every lead records which form it came from.
Add your fields in the order the visitor should answer them. For a select field, write out the options the visitor can choose between. For a checkbox, the label is the statement they are agreeing to.
Optionally set a redirect: a URL the visitor is sent to after they submit. Use it to land people on a thank-you page or straight into a booking link. Without a redirect, the form confirms the submission in place.
Put it on the right site
Forms are workspace content placed on sites through the Show on connector. A form with no placement shows on every site in the workspace. Pick specific sites under Show on and it appears only there. A form created inside a site's editor starts scoped to that site.
This matters most in a multi-site workspace: a contact form for your agency site does not belong on your event site, and Show on is how you keep them apart.
When it does not work
A submission is not in the Leads inbox: first check the site filter on /app/leads, in a multi-site workspace the list filters by site and your lead may be sitting under another one. Then check what kind of site the form is on. Forms built with the form builder and placed on a site land in Leads. A form the design engine wrote into an AI-built project saves into that site's own demo store instead, not yet into Leads, see the article on forms on AI-built sites for exactly what is wired today.
The form does not appear on a site: check its Show on placement. If the form is pinned to specific sites, it only renders on those.
A select field shows nothing to pick: it has no options yet. Edit the field and write the options in.
The redirect goes nowhere: the redirect URL must be a full working address. Test it in a browser tab, then paste exactly that into the form.
