Write an email in the Inbox
Every email you write from adlens starts in the Inbox. Short replies go in the small field. For anything longer, the full writer gives you formatting, looks and AI help.
Open the writer
Tap the email field in New message or in a group thread, or the expand control on a one-to-one email. On a phone the writer fills the screen. On a desktop it opens as a large sheet.
What the writer has
To takes people, groups and lists as chips with counts. Subject has AI suggestions. Preview text is the line people see before they open it.
The body takes headings, bold, italic, underline, bulleted and numbered lists, quotes, links, photos with alt text and a divider. Names can fill in per person, with a fallback when a name is missing.
Write with AI writes the whole email or rewrites a selection: Shorter, Friendlier, More formal or Fix grammar.
Pasting keeps headings, lists, bold, italic and links, and drops fonts and colours.
Looks for group email
There is nothing to design. Pick one of three looks: Letter (plain, like a note), Branded (your logo and brand colour) or Announcement (a big heading and one large button). Preview it as a phone or a desktop, light or dark.
Sending
Send shows a confirm sheet. After you confirm, the email waits 8 seconds with Undo before it goes.
An email to one person is kept in their thread with its formatting.
