Bring a site you already have
If your site already exists somewhere else, you do not have to rebuild it from memory. Import reads your live page and lands it in adlens as an editable draft.
What import does
Import opens your existing page in a real browser, reads the sections out of it, and lands your layout, your words, and your pictures in your workspace as normal editable blocks. The result is an unpublished draft site, so you can look everything over before anything goes live.
How to run one
Tell the assistant: I already have a site at example.com, bring it into adlens. Give the full https address of the page. It must be a site you own; import is a migration tool for your own pages, not a way to copy someone else's site, and you will be asked to confirm ownership before it runs.
The draft arrives unpublished. Open it, read it top to bottom, fix what the move roughed up, and publish when it is yours.
What comes across, and what does not
The honest limits, up front. Scripts and animations do not come across: the words and the layout move, the motion does not. Forms arrive as fields with nothing wired behind them, so anything a visitor could submit needs rewiring on this side. Images keep loading from the old host until you re-upload them here. And a page that builds itself in JavaScript after loading may yield little, because there is not much on it for the import to read.
One more count to know: an imported site counts toward the Free plan's 5-site cap, the same as any other site in the workspace.
When it does not work
Little or nothing came over: the page probably builds itself in JavaScript after loading. There is no flag that fixes this; rebuild that page with a prompt instead, and paste its copy into the brief so the words survive.
The imported forms do not send anywhere: that is expected. Create a form in adlens and place it where the old one sat, so submissions land in your workspace as leads.
Images disappeared weeks after the import: they were still loading from the old host, and the old host stopped serving them. Re-upload every image you intend to keep, so the site owns its own pictures.
The import will not create a new site: check the 5-site cap on the Free plan. Delete a draft you no longer need and run the import again.
