How courses work on adlens
A course on adlens is not a separate product with its own dashboard to learn. It is an event wearing an enrollment checkout, which means everything you already know about events applies, plus a handful of course-only fields.
One engine, two faces
Under the hood a course is an event product with an enrollment checkout preset. Same tables, same editor, same broadcast pipeline. What makes it a course is the extra layer: skills chips, details-to-know rows, the deposit configuration, and the payment plan template.
This matters in practice because there is no second place to look. Your courses live in the same list as your events at /app/events, they are created the same way at /app/events/new, and everything about a course is edited in the same 8-tab event manager at /app/events/:id/edit.
The course-only sections in the event editor
Open a course in the event editor and you get four sections regular events do not have. Skills is a set of chips describing what students walk away with. Details to know is a row-based list for logistics: schedule, prerequisites, what to bring. Deposit is where you configure the enrollment deposit. Payment plan is where you define the instalment template.
Fill in Skills and Details to know first, they render on the public course page and do most of the selling. Then decide on money: deposit only, deposit plus a payment plan, or neither.
Everything else works like an event
Broadcasts email everyone enrolled, with per-recipient delivery, open, and click tracking. Broadcast bodies support button tags: {deposit_link} inserts each student's personal pay button, {ticket_link} and {event_link} work the same as for events, and {button:Label|url} makes any link a button.
Images and SEO are the plain event flows too. Use /app/events/:id/preview to see the public course page exactly as a student will before you share it.
When it does not work
You cannot find the Skills, Deposit, or Payment plan sections: they only appear on courses, not on regular events. Check that the event was created with the enrollment checkout. A plain ticketed event will never grow these sections.
You are looking for a Courses area in the sidebar: there is not one. Courses are listed at /app/events alongside your events. If you asked the assistant where your course went, it will point you there.
A broadcast went out but the deposit buttons are missing: the body must contain the literal tag {deposit_link}. Writing the URL by hand does not work, each student's link is personal and the tag is what swaps in the right one per recipient.
